A clean camera will help you perform and deliver your works in a whole new level. Coming to you is this video where I discussed some simple steps that can help you maintain your camera and lenses.
1. Get the basic things for cleaning
You can get a dust blower and micro fiber cloth for cheap price. It mostly enough for dust removal. But if there’s still some residue, you can use a solution that is made specifically for lenses and camera. Remember: spray first to the cloth not directly.
2. Clean Regularly
Cleaning and checking your gears regularly will save you from a much harder stain to remove like spots/fungus. The more time you save, the more time you have to do something like self improvement or time with family. Even there is no scheduled shoot or event check you gears 🙂
3. Check the gear the night or day before a shoot
Get all your lenses and gear set up the night before the shoot. It is really a big of a hassle when there are little dirt in the sensor that makes a big spot in a photo. Imagine having these spots all over your 2 to 3 thousand photos. It will take all your time removing it.
